Quote Of The Day

"Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One
Who is leading."

More easily said than done, but worth holding on to, even at that.

Amen. And I liked your thoughts about "bring it on" and not allowing yourself to be numb. Which is the title of a rather profound song by (don't gag) Steven Curtis Chapman. I can't sing it unless I'm serious...I feel like I've had enough battle for one lifetime, thank you!

And I had no idea I was missing so much fun photography (note I did not say "gorgeous").

Well now I know where to go to kill time and enjoy a different vision. And now... time to go home and find (by divine assistance) my missing passport. Which has never been found since my move in August to current sunny apartment... I may not have seen it in sixteen months, actually...and this may seriously hamper my attempts to fly to Vancouver this weekend. I am dreading this finalization of the worst... and praying for the best.

Hmmmm... sounds like time to pray and maybe apply for a new one at the same time. Would that demonstrate a lack of faith?

I'm glad you enjoy my blog. It makes me happy to hear it!

Shhh... we are aligning ourselves with the positive forces in the universe this week. ;-) There's no time to get a new passport before the Vancouver Sun Run and my ticket is nonrefundable. My friend Rosie sent an email yesterday, a la "the little engine that could": "You WILL find your passport. You WILL find your passport!"

Were you being snide with your comment about "spiritual olympian"? I'm just a normal person who has suffered so much that any excuse to be this happy is like a kid turned loose in the candy store. I hope it lasts forever but y'know, life happens.

Your new pictures today are... spectacular. Or, in my family tradition of mishmashing multiple words, "Spantaculous" (I made that up. Do you like it?)

Hey, glad you like the pics... I was really happy with them. And no, not being snide about the spiritual olympian thing. That's what I want.
