Geneva Lakeside

Some pictures from tonight. The light was fantastic, I had some great tunes playing... it feels like summer is on the way.

For some reason people just look cooler when they're smoking. Those sorts of pictures always look neat.

DON'T LISTEN TO HIM, KIDS!

Um...Darryl, re your previous post on the crazy man that I can't add comments to on the post itself: I think that's a chick. A militant lesbian looking one admittedly, but still looks to me like an absence of Y chromosones nonetheless...

*looking closely at my pictures*

Ummmm, you may be right. Not sure how I could have been watching her and taking pictures for 15 minutes and not noticed that. I actually thought there was a certain facial resemblance to Peewee Herman (pre-beard and adult theatre fiasco days).

Now I need to decide if I'm going to edit my post. I almost think now that it's better like this...

Ok I'm annoyed. I just left the brilliant "comment" but I couldn't post it. So I will attempt to REwrite my witty repartee knowing that it will be a mere shadow of what once was. I was simply following in Troy's bold footsteps and using THIS entry to leave my comment for the PREVIOUS entry since IT won't LET ME. I only wanted to point out that "she" seems to be wearing jazz shoes(I know this because I, myself, am an accomplished dancer) This would lead me to second the motion that "she" is a performance artist. Who else would vehemently build a garbage mountain and claim it as their own by staking a plastic straw on the peak? Unless "she's" just a total wack job which is also a possibility.

Yeah, honesty - I'm not sure wuat's up with the comment thing on the other post. I can't figure it out.

Anyways, I think you've hit on a good point, Nicole: there really isn't that much difference between dancers/performance artists/absolute raving lunatics. I wasn't going to say anything about it, but since you brought it up...

Wow--nice shots.

I wish Calgary looked like that right now. I was greeted today while coming home from dropping off resumes by a palm-sized pile of snow amidst a pound and a half of gravel, sand, and salt on the front lawn--significantly less romantic than swans floating on clear blue water in under a rustic (rusty?) slide. *sigh* Maybe I should go clean off the lawn...

Thanks, bud. And at least you have hockey... not too bad a trade for swans, I guess.
