Buster: "Mother's becoming too controlling"
Michael: "What tipped you off, when she locked you out on the balcony again?"
Buster: "That was half my fault. I thought I saw a graham cracker out there."

I love that show. I've got 'em all on DVD. Maybe when you're back in town we can have a little Arrested Development marathon.
Sounds great, man, but don't start popping the corn just yet - it will probably be Christmas...
Best show ever.
(P.S. Hi Darryl)
Hey man - nice to see you here! There's something about dysfunction that just makes for great, great viewing. This one is not quite in the league of Seinfeld and The Simpsons for me, but it's pretty close. Any others that you can recommend?
The American version of the Office. So, so great in so many ways. I also like the new Tina Fey/Alec Baldwin show “30 Rock.” It's quirky in a News Radio sort of way.
Yeah, it took me a while to get into the US Office... I saw the English one first, and so I was just used to those characters. And what made it worse is that they used more or less the same scripts for the initial episodes, so I just kept remembering the same lines being given better delivery by someone else. As I watched more, I realized it is great, but the boss is still just so much more subtle and layered in the UK one. I think in the US one, he is just a little too dumb, and you don't get quite the mix of pity/love/loathing that makes the original such a memorable, if uncomfortable, experience.
