I Will Destroy Swiss Cuisine

I am eating rösti tonight. With parmesaen cheese that Helen brought for the last MNB practice. And chicken curry that Eva made last week for our home group. I haven't decided on a name for it yet - waiting to see if I survive it first. Thanks, ladies.

You mean there is such a thing as swiss cuisine? I wasn't aware that it even existed. No offence to the wonderfull cooks of this beautifull country. But what is there really? Fondue, rosti, raclette, chocolate... some more chocolate... I mean: you can only come up with so many cheese and potato derivations...
You should consider your parmesan and chicken curry rosti an amazing attempt at breaking the monotiny of cheese and potato dishes! lol

Well, between you and I, the Swiss are great at rich and creamy, but they don't do other flavors with quite the same aplomb. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that introducing curry to the mix could well get me forcefully re-patriated. Or at least give them cause to raise my rent... neither of which are on my list of things to do at the moment...

Good point. They're good on the sweet and unhealthy. Kudos to the Swiss then!
I agree: stay off the chicken curry for now. At least until you get out of the country. (=
