Well, I'm giving ZenFolio a try. I like the layout, and once you are in one of my collections, you don't have to click to go from one picture to the next - you can just arrow over like the pics are on your own PC. Check it out and let me know what you think...

I'm especially happy with the flowers... look in "Nature". Oh, and if you just put your mouse over one of the shots when you're viewing it, you can choose "larger image". You can still use your arrows, and it's a little nicer view. The slideshow is also good, I think.
Somehow "happy Easter" doesn't seem quite right on Good Friday. Be loved, be blessed.

These photos are gorgeous. When is your gallery's grand opening? :-) They're the best I've seen of your stuff yet. I looked at the flowers first... found myself wanting a lot of them for my house! Then I delved into your people shots... same reaction. Is that a new camera since the Paris/Florence slides? I like the ZenFolio format better too.
Man, I love guessing who left the anonymous comments. I think I know, but in any case, thanks for the kind words... I am having soooo much fun taking them, and yeah, I think it's getting better, too, and I also think Zenfolio is going to be worth the cost to get the membership. It's pretty easy to use.
It is a new camera, and that's made a difference in how they're coming out, and has also helped me to think a little more carefully about what I'm doing. It doesn't help me to see what I didn't see before, but the quality is a lot easier to work with, and I end up throwing out a lot fewer shots, as well as taking ones I wouldn't have tried with my compact camera.
As for the gallery opening... watch this space... lol.
At least when I repeatedly say your photos are "gorgeous", it's genuine!
Just make sure you don't download Slide... ;-)
aaaaugh! Don't say the S-word! I never did get my old computer back... they gave me a new one...
Hey, well that's a happy ending, then, right? I like technology and am always happy to have a pc that's a bit faster and a bit more capable of keeping up with my photo editing, music production, and so on, but man... I HATE configuring the new ones when I get them...
