But, at the same time, it seems a little... well, self-absorbed to write much about it here. The interweb tells me that about 2% of the population has my type. (I wonder if it's higher or lower in Mac users? must check that out...). And even if you do happen to share it, I'm guessing that it manifests itself differently in you than it does in me.
But here's what I've arrived at. Blogging tends to follow one of three patterns, I think:
- This is my diary. And you can read it.
- I'm going to change the world. I just need Kofi to start logging in to my page.
- This is my chance to write whatever random stuff I want and maybe have people read it. I just want to express myself.
So, now that I'm getting comfortable with the thought of devoting at least a part of my blog to being all about me, this is probably as good as anything else I could write about. So if you're interested, there are some posts in the works.
If not, it's only a matter of time until there are more pictures. Or Mac digs. You know, the usual stuff.

No, *I* am going to change the world. And thankfully, Kofi no longer has the responsibility of logging in. I'm not sure what I think of the new guy. Of course, my opinion is the only one that matters.
Is that how ENFJ's write?
We were looking at personality types in Vancouver on Sunday... an INTJ guy described himself as "Don't make the bunny mad!!!"
Don't make the bunny mad?? Ok, I've never heard my dad or my brother describe themselves like that...
He said it was because he's generally such a nice guy, but when he gets really angry, it's not good diplomacy for others to be around him. :-)
I just thought it was hilarious. He delivered the statement with a load of crazed sarcasm.
Hey Darryl, would you re-post that link to the different personality types again... that was really cool stuff.
I think that "don't make the bunny mad" is probably a lesson we can all use. I like Kofi mostly because of his name. Not as much as I liked Boutros Boutros-Gali, but that's pretty tough to top.
And an ENFJ wouldn't say my opinion is the only one that matters. But it's probably the right one, and if you give me five minutes, I'm pretty sure you will be able to see why.
Oh, and I'll put the links in my next post, which I just finished writing, but want to sleep on before publishing. Once it's out there, and all that...
Get this. My colleague just told me she used to work with a guy named Robbins Pancake.
No lie.
i don't remember my personality type, but i can promise you it didn't start with "e"
Well, Jon, you never know. I used to be convinced I was a hardcore introvert. Eventually, I realized that it was just a role I had taken on and, somehow, couldn't see my way out of. You may be surprised one day.
the result?
56% i
25% n
12% f
11% j
promise maintained. : ) i don't dislike people, but i definitely need to be alone to rest up and feel like myself
Yeah, that's pretty distinctly "i". I guess Erin's an "e"?
very, very likely. i sent her the test, but have yet to hear any results. i'll have to get on that, because i'm really quite interested.
oh, and by the way, i have my ticket to go see victor wooten now... so exciting! oh, and the rest of his band. bela fleck and somethin' somethin' or another.
: D
You're going to see Bela? I'm jealous, man! Where's he playing? What's your seat like? I need to get some of their stuff... banjo is cool.
they're playing at the folk fest, probably (i should confirm this, however) in prince's island park. i haven't actually ever heard the whole band play before, just wooten's solos. but that's enough to make me giggle, so i figure the ticket was well worth its price.
oh, and by the way, erin is an enfj as well. she was only 1% extroverted, but the description of an enfj suited her much, much more than that of an infj.
Interesting... by the numbers, then, it's not a surprise you guys match up well...
