Jordan

I went out today to make some pictures with Jordan, and it was great just to be out in the sunshine and NOT WEARING A COAT! Finally! And, as usual, it was wonderful to be shooting. Here's what we came up with...

Considering it was both his and my first attempt at anything fashion-ish, I'm pretty happy with the result.

There are a couple more shots here. And by "a couple", I mean two. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Yesterday this man was called Brandon. I am sure of it.

I realise that by even noticing this I look like I have been stalking you. The truth is, I came back to see if anyone had made the comment that we are all thinking.. and they haven't.

Well, I've been setting up sessions with a few different people, and I had just talked to another guy named Brandon when I made the post. Shortly after, I realized a couple of things:

1. I put the wrong name in... kind of embarrassing...

2. You probably are stalking me, bur given the physical distance, I'm not too concerned, yet

;-)

I noticed that too Katie.

But don't know that I agree that THAT'S what we were all thinking but didn't want to say.

:)

Well, Katie has a little related personal history that I think I'll let her get into on her own blog...

I need to go take some more pictures.

Oh I know what *I'M* thinking.

"Am I on the right website?"

"Is my company going to block this website?"

"Did a nice Christian friend I know actually take these photos?"

hee hee
the scary thing is that they're marketable... by, say, Abercrombie & Fitch.

Yes, hopefully not, and sure did! They didn't seem that unusual to me, but perhaps I just wasn't surprised because I was there when they were being taken.

But the marketable thing... that part wasn't supposed to be scary! I'm not sure if A&F is a dig or an endorsement (shrugs), but I like them. I like that they're different than what I've usually done, that they are dramatic.

I do still need a bit of practice to really master my flashes, though...

Yep, you got me. That's EXACTLY what I was thinking, A1*!

So, my mom mentioned something to me when I showed her these pictures that hadn't occurred to me before. After living in Europe for the past 8 years, these images certainly don't strike me as anything close to risque or inappropriate: they just look like images that could be in any clothing ad, on any billboard on the street. They're pretty normal, in that sense.

But things might be a little different on this side of the water.

Hmmmm....
