I love my couch, in a completely platonic kind of way. If you were sitting on it, these are the kinds of things we may talk about. It would be better if you were actually here since I could make you a drink and put some tunes on - and that would be great, because I have impeccable taste in music - but, since you're not, this will have to do. So put on some good music, get comfortable, and enjoy.

Yikes, that's very true. When I was a kid, I didn't realize that if I hummed, other people could hear me. I thought it was "in my head". Then one day my grade one teacher called me out in front of the class and said "Natalie, when you hum, others can hear it, and we don't want to... If you don't stop, you can hum by yourself in the hallway."
It's one of my first school memories. Being embarrassed by Mrs. Sykes..... I quit humming cold turkey and took up whistling: and was sent into the hallway.
I'd much rather listen to humming than whistling. Have you ever looked in the mirror to see how you look when you're out in public whistling??? (Not just directed at you,Darryl)
Nat! Hey, not sure if you've left a comment before, but welcome. And yeah, I'm definitely guilty on the humming front, especially pretending I'm playing bass when there's music going. So maybe it's better than whistling. Of course, maybe it's just one of those things that my friends won't tell me, but my hairdresser will.
The only problem is, my hairdresser speaks French. Oh well.
