Flowers And Stuff

I called it scenery, just because I wasn't sure what other label would work. Turns out, though, that it's primarily architecture... sorry if you were hoping for anything else. In any case, here are some of the pictures:

The Colosseum and somebody's arch.

The Trevi Fountain. If you plan to use a tripod there, try not to let the police see it. Whoops.

The Forum.

You can see the other ones here. It's probably worth saying, though, that the pictures aren't all up yet - more are loading as I speak...

Stunning!!!!

I think it's Constantine's arch... first Christian emperor, God bless him. Y'know, no more Roman candles and lion lunches and things like that.

Fontana di Trevi is a gorgeous shot... sorry about the cops... missionary friends of mine got engaged at that spot, a few decades ago... :)

Yeah, that's it!

And at Trevi, the cops were actually very, very nice. Very friendly, and took great pains to explain that I could take as many pictures as I wanted... just without the tripod. I didn't know if was against the rules when I set up, and I packed down the tripod when they asked, but I'm glad I got the shots first.

hee hee. Better than a concert, confiscating the camera!
