Set 1
- Kiss Me (Sixpence None The Richer) - good tune, maybe a bit slow for a starter in retrospect
- Somewhere Only We Know (Keane) - it rocks
- Everybody's Gone To War (some Australian chick) - it really, really rocks. Love this song
- Who Knew (Pink) - solid tune, maybe not the best fit for us, but fun to play
- King of Pain (Alanis Morrisette acoustic version) - nice backup part for me to sing in this
- Shiver (Natalie Imbrouglia) - kind of mellow, but it's a nice one
- Life For Rent (Dido) - not my favorite tune, but I do get to sing in it
- Torn (Natalie Imbrouglia) - nice, and people know it
- What Took You So Long (Emma Bunton) - yes, former Spice Girl. But it's a hauling song
- Radio (The Corrs) - nice guitar in this one
Set 2
- I Don't Want A Lover (Texas) - good, straight-ahead rocker
- Since You've Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson) - decent tune, I LOVE singing the "yeah, yeah" in the chorus
- Sk8r Boi (Avril Lavine) - moves along pretty good, but makes my arms tired
- Bend and Break (Keane) - another fun one to play, even if there aren't any BGV's
- Starting Today (Natalie Immbrouglia) - why is it that I want to describe all of hers as "nice"?
- Sand In My Shoes (Dido) - rocks pretty good, for Dido
- Ironic (Alanis Morrisette) - people seemed to like this one - easy to sing along, I guess
- Hunter (Dido) - not my favorite, but it has a nice grooving drum part
- She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5) - love this tune, plus there's lot's of singing for me
- Satellite (Natalie Imbouglia) - well... yeah, it's nice, too
- So Young (The Corrs) - love the ending... nice harmonies on "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"
- Leave Me Alone (P!ink) - another rocker
Set 3
- Behind These Hazel Eyes (Kelly Clarkson) - pretty fun to play, the drums are all over the place
- Breathless (The Corrs) - hard not to love this tune
- Wishing I Was There (Natalie Imbrouglia) - very groovy, with a fun gang backup in the chorus
- Adia (Sarah Maclaughlin) - great drums in this one, plus lots of singing. Hooray!
- White Flag (Dido) - okay tune, but I get to sing in the chorus
- Counting Down The Days (Natalie Imbrouglia) - fun, but feels like I'm trying to hold back a team of wild horses to keep the tempo steady
- Thank You (Dido) - not bad, but I think my BGV needs a bit of polishing in this one
- Only When I Sleep (The Corrs) - slow, but it rocks. We skipped it, I think to move on to something quicker
- Black-Eyed Boy (Texas) - motown-ish rocking kind of tune, not bad...
- Steve McQueen (Sheryl Crow) - love this one... the drums haul, and I get to sing my heart out in the chorus... it's just right for my range - low enough that I can hit all the notes without having to worry about it, but high enough to make it feel like I'm working for it. I could play this all night...

And believe it or not bits of it are on YouTube right now!! Just search for "Cover Story Pickwick"
It's a medley of:
Texas - Black Eyed Boy
Texas - I Don't Want A Lover
Sheryl Crow - Steve McQueen (Darryl's there!)
Dido - Life For Rent
Emma Bunton - What Took You So Long
The Corrs - Radio (Go BGVs!)
Alanis Morissette - Ironic (concert+encore)
P!nk - Leave Me Alone
And possibly the end of Sand In My Shoes by Dido but I'm not sure...
Fortunately there are other videos out there with more shots of Darryl. This was filmed by one of our singer's best friends (=
FUN! man, you guys sound GREAT, even on a home video!! Caro - great power vocals! Mlle. Spitfire on the guitar - great work! Darryl, I can't see you...but I can hear you... velly, velly good. I couldn't hear much bass or keys but nothing went wrong in those clips, so I've got to assume you two knew what you were doing too...Looking forward to seeing more footage of what I missed out here in the USA...
Dang. I'm so impressed. Your hard work in the living room recording everything as you went really paid off. Kudos to all of you for a really solid debut.
Why thank you anonymous! And I like the name you gave me (= "Mlle. Spitfire" haha No longer shall I be known as "Caro" on stage, from now on it's Spitfire hehe Cheers!
Was I there? Hmmmm.....
Tee hee. Well I was confused. I thought Caro was the lead vocal... kudos to whatever her name is!
And Mlle. Spitfire... you're quite a kick. Just make sure you don't go calling 118 by accident or anything.
Well, just in case:
Helen - lead vocal
Kristy - keyboard, BGV
Caro - guitar, BGV
Chuck - bass
Darryl - drums, BGV
