I had a guy I work with in the bank pass me in the hall today. He winked and gave me the thumbs-up.
I love Italians.

I love my couch, in a completely platonic kind of way. If you were sitting on it, these are the kinds of things we may talk about. It would be better if you were actually here since I could make you a drink and put some tunes on - and that would be great, because I have impeccable taste in music - but, since you're not, this will have to do. So put on some good music, get comfortable, and enjoy.

He's just letting you know you're allowed in the club with the Italian dudes.
Contrary to your feelings about being in Sweden.
He probably thinks you can understand them in meetings as well...
Lol... yeah, I should have been practicing my deer in the headlights look, rather than the "yeah, no problem, I got it" one. Live and learn!
Anon, I can almost hang with them, except for my complete and utter inability to wear brown shoes with a gray suit. It just seems wrong.
You know what? I believe Switzerland will be an interesting place to visit. Tell me what's inetresting and when's the best time to visit this wonderful place?!!
Yeah grey suit, brown shoes... nuh-uh.
And you wouldn't want that little dog on a leash look either, that I've seen so many Italian guys pull off... amazing. Kids, don't try this at home.
Hey, Veronneca - nice to see you again! It is a cool place, and part of what's great is that it's also really close to a lot of other great places... just a short flight to Paris, Florence, Munich...
If you're a skier, you'd probably dig it in the winter, but in any other case, I would suggest spring or early summer (like around May). Things are green and beautiful, it's not usually too hot... it's really wonderful. Fall is nice, but there is a lot of rain and gray as well, so it's a bit more hit and miss.
As far as what to see, in Switzerland there are some great, quaint little places: Gruyeres is fantastic, Bern is really nice, Lugano is tough to get to but beautiful. Geneva is nice, but not great for a long visit, and Zurich is a really fun town. If you like mountains and action stuff, Interlaken is pretty good.
And anonymous, you're right - I wouldn't do too well with the dog on the leash thing. How do those Italian guys pull it off, you ask? Get to know a couple of Italian women and it all becomes clear. They're gorgeous, but they'll kill you...
Was he hot?
And where exactly is this bank?
Not hot, and I'm not 100% sure if my gaydar is in any kind of working order (it doesn't get called into service much) but it's not going off... at all.
The bank is in Lugano, in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Not the world's most exciting place, but it's beautiful and they know how to cook a steak...
Hey Darryl, thanks for the great tips, m so looking forward to Switzerland! Was in London, Paris and Rome just last summer but didn't thought of Swizerland at all :) Here in Malaysia, it's summer all year long,so ugghhh... i haven't get to ski but would love to try! MAybe i should plan a trip to Swizerland with some friends next Spring... Hmm... but u know, travelling from Malaysia to any part of Europe is very very expensive, so i'm gonna start saving up!
