I woke up this morning with huge bags under my eyes, and 45 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. I had been dreaming that I was married to a woman who was unfaithful.
What a great way to start the day.
Could someone hit the "off" switch on your way out of the room? Thanks.

Wish you could've had my dream. I dreamt I met one of my heroes: Ms Annie Lennox. Don't know why... Maybe because there's an album coming out soon. She was very nice and down to earth.
I still have bags under my eyes (that's just genetics in my case I think...) and I did wake up before the alarm went on (that's because I have an exam and I'm a wee bit nervous).
I can teach you how to change the course of a dream if you're interested. (= Now you just need a coffee. Things look frequently better (focused?) after coffee. In spight of the glitch, have a great day!
Yeah, I'd be quite content to trade for a dream of Annie. Especially if I could be playing. And especially if it was on Broken Glass. Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, d-d-d-duh...
First coffee is taking effect (and, thankfully they know now at the hotel that I'm a cappuccino guy, so I don't even need to speak first) and the second will be en route shortly.
Go Broken Glass!! Great song. Love that one.
SHE MIGHT TOUR!! I just saw it on her blog!! (My Space) I don't believe it! My dreams are coming true. First The Police, now this. Maybe my dreams are really premonitions...
So the question becomes, how far are you willing to travel to see her? Zurich? Paris? London?
If I could jet to any of these for the weekend and justify it? I'd do it. Gosh that would be fun.
But I may have to settle for Mindy in my home town. Not a bad consolation prize. How far would YOU travel to hear HER? Hmmmm? Monday is, after all, your day off ;-)
I'd go ANYWHERE to see her. Other bands don't get this devotion from me, but she definitely does. And hopefully the plane tickets won't be too expensive so I won't be indebted for life. I was a fan of Eurythmics when I was 8, I had "Why" as one of my earliest memories when I was 6. I was a kid with taste (=
Monday isn't my day off, it's daddy/daughter day. Not sure how far I'd travel to see her.... maybe Zurich if it was in a small club, but she's young enough and just getting started enough that I would imagine there will be other chances.
Caro, I'd pick London... they usually do reserved seats so you know what you're getting before you pay for a flight. Plus you can usually bring in cameras. Plus, they have the National Gallery, which is, in my experience so far, the best free museum in the world.
Wednesday night/Thursday morning must have been the time for bad dreams. Was there some planet alignment someone forgot to tell me about! Mine was of my brother dying in a freak mountain climbing accident...I don't think my brother has ever been on a mountain!
Love your blog and your photography! (I appologize for the over-indulgent use of exclaimation points! oops, there's another one.)
Hey, thanks. And I'm a firm believer in never criticizing anyone's use of exclamation points when they're used in a complimentary way... I'm glad you have enjoyed what you've found. And you may want to tell your brother to stay on flat ground for a little while, just in case...
